Testing Beyond the Ingredient List
An ingredient list tells you what a product is supposed to contain. It doesn't tell you where those ingredients have been or what they picked up along the way.
Contaminants can enter at almost any stage:
- Soil
- Water
- Harvesting
- Transportation
- Storage
- Processing
- Manufacturing equipment
- Packaging materials
A supplier's Certificate of Analysis can offer useful information. But Kirkman doesn't take it on faith.
We test raw ingredients before they ever enter a Kirkman formulation. Then we test again; after blending, processing and encapsulation are complete. Nothing moves forward on someone else's word alone.
